I saw this while on the road and thought about taking a picture, but knew I’d never do it justice and didn’t bother. So glad to see that you could, and did!
I love moon shots, very hypnotising.
And yours really shows the cavities and rough texture of it on the right side – stupendous capture!
The navel at the bottom and the color in your photo, makes me think of it as an orange now.
How timely your post is – for the mooncake festival where the chinese celebrate it on the full moon yesterday – and folks who are hopeful for love throw oranges into the water that shows the reflection of the moon.
That’s a wonderful; shot. I’m a moon-watcher too, and saw it come up over the sea last night. But I couldn;t see all the rough bits you show us!
Lovely one, thank you
Awesome moon shot Patrick! I love a full moon. To me the sun and the moon are Universal symbols of the vast and infinite potential and possibility available to all of us!
Wow it’s awesome see it haha~I’m just wondering what camera do you take for shooting usually?
O(∩_∩)O wish you the best and I like your pictures!!!Good Job!!!
Wow! The details of the moon’s surface are amazing! Just this morning (very early this morning, like 3:30) I was standing outside looking at the moon through the birch trees and wishing I had the skill to capture it in a photo.
Oh, wow! Spectacular Moon shot
I was so bummed out when last night’s Moon was all pretty over at this side of the Globe as well and I didn’t have my camera (even if it’s not as great as your camera)
I’m sure you hear this a lot, but wow! You’re pictures are amazing, the places hardly look real they’re so beautiful!! I can just imagine being there from looking at them breath taking!
I think, of all the art forms, I prefer photography to most. When I see your work, it is like taking in a deep, refreshing breath from high atop of one of those mountains you capture with your camera. I use my little Kodak to illustrate my posts and am truly humbled with great talent like yours. Thanks for sharing!
