Collection of shots from Saturday Halloween parties this year. Can you guess what everybody is?
LOL Think I got 3 of the 8?
hahaha, me too!!!
Love these photos and the lighting is fantastic, but can’t figure out who the woman is with the wormlike scars on her face….Help?
Edward Scissor Hands
looks more like gemma in son’s of anarchy
Oh! Now I see him! Hahaha!
These are great shots – clearly, there are people who take Halloween far more seriously than I do! On the other hand, there was that year I transformed myself into a marina power center…
Looks like a lot of fun was had by all. Great costumes.

1st photo:victim from hitchock’s psycho :),there is hulk, poirot. But I like most 3rd photo from top but couldn’t figure out the character
I want to come to your Halloween party next year!
Now that is a proper attire for a man of refinement, dear sir 😉
He was ‘The Monopoly Man’
Hah, nice one. At first I thought that he’s dr. Watson.
and forgot to say the bride from beetlejuice.
Is the woman in pink supposed to be a loofah?
That’s actually really clever. Haha! Happy Halloween!
Love the pink shower scruchie! LOL! Great pics, as always!
loofah!! Great photos!!
fantastic – just fantastic – I’m speechless
Great photos! The costumes are pretty awesome. That’s a great handlebar mustache! Would make any Civil War general jealous.

Your work is simply stunning. The monocled individual might just be my favorite but it was difficult to choose!
Well everyone looked like they made an effort. Great shots and looks like one ‘hell’ of a party!
some of the best costumes I’ve seen this year. looks like it was a fun party.
Love the pics. Very funny and great costumes but am devastated that the corpse bride(???) ruined that fab dress lol.
Great shots and what a fun party!
Love the pics! 😉
She’s a bath thingie! Such an awesome costume and there I was thinking she was going to wee in the bath lol
Looks like a fun party. Great photos.
“Bath scrubber in Fuchsia” was my favorite: so clever! (and yes, I have one).
Looks like you guys had fun. Too bad we don’t even know when halloween is where I live… 😛
Happy (belated) Halloween I guess. ^_^
Totally LOVE the bath poof! Gonna bookmark for next year!
You are an amazing photographer!! What great photos. If you are ever in the U.S. specifically the great state of North Carolina, please send a shout out. I would love to meet you and of course have you take my picture!
What fun ! The loofah is AWESOME. I also dig the vampire shot 😉
Fabulous costumes and photos! Looks like you all had lots of fun.
I recognized the second one but for the life of me couldn’t remember where from.
What great costumes!!! You guys look like you all had a blast. Creative costumes (love the bath scrubby thing) so I have some great ideas to suggest to my daughter for next year. She said home and gave out candy.. Love your creativity in these shots!
This party looks like so much fun XD i’m gonna guess…first one is a bathsponge ofcorse, the third is edward scissorhands? (looks so cool o.o), fourth is count dracula, fifth is the hulk, and sixth is the corpse bride…i think! Cant even guess who the other two men are :/ but i’m curious. Haha anyway your pictures are amazinnng!
PLEASE tell me that is a real moustache!
Love the images. Keep up the great work.
Love the loofah! As always – Great shots!
I really like the B&W shots!
BTW, is it an iPhone 5 the one that is sticking out of Hercule’s pocket? 😉
These are awesome!
The loofa may just be the best thing I have ever seen. Fantastic!!
Looks like you had a blast! Your friends really know how to kick a Halloween party. I love the ideas for next year! By the way, you’re a fantastic photog. Fabulously fun photos!
Looks like they had a lot of fun! What was the significance of the first shot being in the bathtub?
Superb costumes AND photos!! Where did you get the fangs????!!!!!!
Really great job! I wonder what lens you used on the 6th photo? (The girl wearing a white dress)
I like the blur effect because of the depth of field.
Do I see a pink human sponge? Very funny…. Good costume.
I’m not good at photographic memory but one of the pics is of dracula! awesome.
These are gorgeous!
Love your work! So great. YOu made my day.
I’m still laughing at the 1st one!!!
LOVE the last one!
Who is the girl with the pink tutu on?!? LOL! Great photos.
Fun filled shots
The loofaa costume – too funny. I suppose you came as the photographer – with the big bulb flash and roll film camera.
Nice photos- These put my Halloween costume to shame 😉
I like the shower loofa-thingy. Ridiculously clever!
The loofa wins for me!! What a great idea!!
All the photos are amazing. Looked like everyone had fun.
Did you end the night with a full costumed hike?
great fun captured in great shots!
The loofah is my fave! Awesome photos.
There’s some great stuff here. The colour shots are fun, but the black and white shots really draw me in.
Stunning! What technology you packing?
All your friends were wearing great looking costumes. Nice photos
Please don’t tell me the first is just when we thought it was safe to get into the bath again…..
These are just great. So much fun. And lovely images.
These shots are simply amazing. I love your landscapes and I am now blown away by your portraits. Thank you for sharing and also for regularly liking my somewhat controversial work.
Beautiful pictures! Beautiful woman in the bathtub (without my fantasies kicking in:-))
Nice Idea for Halloween! inspiring for halloween..
Love it! What fun…Hulk and Poirot!
Such a great idea, wish I’d done that!
lol loofah ? why ?
great pictures! and the party look sooo fun!
Sir Monocle looks great, but he might have to pass for a steampunker with the cell phone peeking out in that one photo. And I can’t believe someone did Robert Pattinson!
Great photos and costumes! I love the photo ” I want to bite your neck”.
fantastic, I love the monopoly man with his vintage clothes but smartphone in pocket, like he jumped threw a time machine or something. The hulk is pretty cool too…OMG that’s a lot of green paint.
The first shot just made me laugh, and after that it was Halloween party time. Great series of photographs.
My favorite: The Loofah and the Hulk!
Really creative costumes …. love them all. You captured them so well. They look like they’re all
in action positions.
Looks like a good time. I miss a good Halloween party.

Very cool costumes! I was having trouble with the loofah though! Now I understand why she was in the tub *smacks heel of hand on forehead*
Great photos and really nice costumes! Hopefully no one minds if I borrow and idea for next year…
Bath scrubbie takes the prize for creativity – what fun!
Love the first one!
I believe I recognize Lord Peter Wimsey??
What great professional looking costumes! I loved the scrubbie :o)
What great photos. But even better it looks like tons of fun!
LOVE the loofa!
OOOHHH, that’s what her costume is…cool!
Fantastic photos and great colour with the dress and yes I also wondered why the bath photo? She looks so happy it made great viewing. Thanks for these. Lovely!
The pink lady in the tub reminds me of the horrors I experience trying to shave my legs after I am dressed and running late to work. Love it!
Some great photos.
Looks like so much fun. I think the shower poof was a particularly clever costume. Thanks for sharing.
These are some great photos
loved this one too. what a great idea I would have never thought of that.
Edward Scissorhands:) Pretty much amazing.
So entertaining! The loofa was great!!
Love the loofa costume! Think i might have to steal the idea next year.~ hehe
How fun! I love the loofa lady 😉 She doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the eerie crowd though haha
Fabulous outfits!!! I especially love the guy with the cool spectacles and the girl in the pink sponge..haha
Ooo! Human luffa (sp?), high-speed pilot man, haircut-gone-horribly-wrong-person, and… oh, the last one’s a toughie. I’d have to go with amazingly awesome old english super-gentle-villain-man. Wonderful shots, Patrick!
Okay… Loopha scrub. Howard Hughes? Edward. Vampire. Hulk. Bride… of…? Hercule Poirot!
Great pix! Looks like you had a spooktacular Halloween!
Looks like a blast. Great costumes. I wanna come next year????? Can I, huh, huh, puhleeeez. J/K.
damn these are good. I especially liked the loofah. What an original idea!
Love the different uses of light.
I too luv da loofa!! It makes me smile and that’s tough at this time of day. Beautiful photo!

Reblogged this on mokauthor and commented:
so funny and inventive
Made me seriously smile. Thanks.
I bet it was a great party!
1. A loofah
2. A magician
3. Edward Scissorhands
4. A vampire (right now I don’t remember vampire names)
7. Sherlock Holmes
Great shots as per usual. Corpse Bride/Bride of Dracula is my favourite.
You are a very talented photographer! And your blog is very beautiful
I have nominated you for the “One Lovely Blog Award”. For more details, here is the link: http://marymyers38.wordpress.com/2012/11/05/im-ready-for-the-one-lovely-blog-award/
I love these! Quite lovely captures
I still don’t know what the lady in the pink dress is…. but love the photos and costumes!
Okay, in order of appearance: bath sponge, Jude Law (ringer by way), Edward Scissorhands (or Edwina :-), very scary vampire!, Hulk, jilted bride who apparently found and murdered the groom, Dr. Watson?…or maybe not. Great photos, fun game!
Love the Halloween photographs!
Looks like you all had fun.
Looks like lots of fun was had.
Great photos! My sister dressed up as a loofa this year, too, and it was also a big hit
Great shots, as always!
Impressive costumes and portraits.
The loofah makes me so happy. Also the monocle and handlebarstache. Halloween is the best.
Wooww.. cool pic
I’d never even heard of a loofah. Then again, I rarely take a bath… : P
I didn’t know a soul, but I can tell they’re all my kinda, uh, people… : )
Great shots, good stuff!
Edward Scissorhands was awesome! Great photos!!
the quality of some of these shots are amazing. You have talent.
That tash, is the best thing I’ve seen in ages. Unbelievably good and very distinguished, looks like a real gent any lady would like to get to know, Cognac anyone?
All of these are fun! Bright colors–greens, pinks…. Really like the veiled model and the vampire’s red eyes. The bottle cap flying off the top of the beer bottle is a cool shot–especially with the vapors rising from the bottle.
I don’t know these people..but great images and…I would like to go to your next party ;)…thank you for checking out my art work.
Well, one gentleman appears to be a vampire, another Hercule Poirot, A body poof in Pink, Dead Bride or the girl from Bram Stoker’s Dracula,Incredible Hulk, a Not Quite Sure, Airplane Pilot from Catch Me If You Can?
Wonderful photography! I would love to be an attendee at one of your “galas”! Looks like everyone was having a great time.
Great photography! I would have loved to be at that Halloween bash; everyone looked they were having a great timeI Love all the colors and the black and white.
Cemetary Girl (a la Rob Zombie)?
A pink Body Poof
Airline Pilot behind the Engine When They Turned the Key
Ummm….. not quite sure
I also really like the play of light and shadow in the I am guessing Hercule Poirot, or maybe one of the Robber Barrons of the early 20th century geez, did I really type that. i am getting younger every minute) That was a great way to play up his costume (mostly black with touches of white) using light and shadow.
Kudos to the folks doing the makeup for these photos, or if you did it yourself, Really nice work. The makeup gave the photographer just enough shadow to pay it off the various costumes while not consuming the lights that appear in great places!
Very well done. I have always wished that I had a more artistic talent of the nature that you have. I am a writer and amateur watercolor painter (those are always experiences because I never know what my brain is going to do). I am also an amateur photographer. Heavy emphasis on amateur; my best shots were pure accidents. i can’t stage something or manage an off guard moment the way that some photographers, like yourself, can do. Mine, even when not posed, end up looking well, posed.
Anyhoo, I love your photography, your use of light and shadow, and different types of film to acheive exactly what you want. And, your candid shots are great.
Hahah that looked like fun!!!
I would really like to join you and learn a lot of stuff from you. Let me know if you are doing any internships
Your work is absolutely breathtaking. So much so that I am using one as a desktop photo. Thank you for sharing your work with all of us.
Your photography is so amazing. I loved taking a class in high school, which was in 1998, but I have recently thought about taking another one. These pictures are great!
The shower pouf is the best. No questions.
