I perch here atop my castle, and oversee my frozen kingdom. Nothing moves in my icey domain that escapes my notice. I cannot be caught unaware. I cannot be dethroned. But, come try… if you dare.
That is simply stunning – what beautiful scenery you manage to get too, what a life of adventure you lead, the snow so virginal and pristine gorgeous Patrick.
You might not know this but during the first world war, Ukrainian immigrants were interned (legally held against their will) at a camp at Castle Mountain. (Prisoners or war basically) Many were there as families since the women couldn’t survive without their husbands so all were interned. Loved your photo.
I’d not heard of Castle Mountain … but I can sure see why it is called that. Framed between the sky, the water and the snow, the mountain’s features sure stand out.
Beautiful shots, wow. It looks so peaceful. I love that you got it at sunset, too. Thanks for the follow btw, looking forward to seeing more of your work!
So beautiful! And really great photos on your second website too! When and how did you get into photography? I was never interested but recently I’ve started to take an interest to it. And thank you for following my blog! I hope to see my photography skills improve as I go along! Any tips would be appreciated! =)
It’s been below 20F (some mornings 10F) this week. I cannot image how cold you all are. Beautiful winter light for photos though. We’ve signed up for a photo safari in Washington, D. C. in a couple of months. Time to learn more about urban photo composition.
