Burning Man 2014

“Burning Man is a week-long annual event held in the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada, in the United States. It takes its name from the ritual burning of a large wooden effigy, which is set alight on Saturday evening. The event is described as an experiment in community, art, radical self-expression, and radical self-reliance”

My 2013 Burning Man Pictures

200 people ran up with a red carpet and laid it out as soon as someone went into one of the porta potties. They then waited until they came out and surprised them with cheering and music.

You have the most amazing talent for what you do. I take classes to just barely pick up the right lighting, or subject, without having to mess around on my computer afterwards, and you just, basically, get the the shot right. I’m in awe, and I thank you for sharing your work with all of us. I am proud to share your work with all of my followers and friends, and hope that you are able to make some kind of living by what you do without having to mix drinks at night, like I did for so long. I wrote an article about one of our local wildlife photographers for the same reason, I am commenting on yours. Robert Rommel, a wildlife photographer on Hilton Head, inspires me the same way your work does. Thanks again.

Great shots!! The first time I heard of Burning Man was 2010 when my friend went for the first time. I had actually known a ton of Burners for years prior without really knowing what a burner was! Sadly, I have yet to make it to the Playa so thanks for sharing these wonderful photos! 🙂
