“Burning Man is a week-long annual event held in the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada, in the United States. It takes its name from the ritual burning of a large wooden effigy, which is set alight on Saturday evening. The event is described as an experiment in community, art, radical self-expression, and radical self-reliance”

In the photo of the person being lifted on the chair. Is that a jewish wedding?

They were Jewish but it was actually a ‘burn mitzvah’, celebrating their 13th year at burning man.

wow! I have never seen such an event before! What an eye opener for me. It does looks super cool and fun with all those life size and larger than life installation and art work *_^

Somehow, the images gives me the vibe of MADMAX mixed the hippies’ woodstock feel *_^ Interestingly captured.
    Thanks for sharing

    Cheers,
