Take Highway 1 from Calgary and turn left at the Lake Louise exit. Then follows the signs for Moraine Lake.

Story

The trail began with us making our way through the beautiful Larch Valley.

We finally got a good look at Eiffel peak (on the left), the summit still in the clouds.

The weather cleared up as we progressed.

It was relatively easy scramble up the shale as we zigzagged up the well defined trail.
