Clothing
- Waterproof Jacket
- Fleece
- Shirt – Avoid cotton, as it will be heavy and absorb moisture.
- Hiking Pants – Light weight and the ability to zip into shorts is nice
- Long Underwear
- Hiking Socks and Liners
- Hat
- Gloves – I try to find gloves with a good balance of warmth and enough dexterity to still operate my camera
- Gortex Boots – I prefer anything high top to lower my chances of rolling my ankle and to minmize rocks and water getting in through the top
- Gaiters
Food/Water
- Dehydrated Meals
- Cliff Bars
- Water – 3000g
